START – Student Training in the ARTS – is a non-profit, tuition based teaching program for individuals interested in gaining and developing their skills in the performing arts.
- Register online using our online registration system (note: each class description has a dedicated link to the respective registration pages)
- Please complete the Emergency Medical Form and bring it with you to the first day of camp
- Payment in full for each class will be made through the online registration system. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards
Once we receive your enrollment materials, we will send a confirmation email. Once a class has met the minimum enrollment requirement, we will send an additional enrollment confirmation email.
Most classes will culminate in a sharing the final day of the course to present the work that has been created in the classes. This sharing is open to family and friends.

Musical Theatre Dance

So you’ve taken the beginner’s dance class and you’re ready for more… HERE IT IS! This class offers energetic dance lessons for continuing novices. This class is geared toward the beginning dancer who already has a working understanding of the basics but is hungry for more! They will focus on keeping their basic techniques while learning new skills and building fun dance routines. This class is designed to take you to the next level.
Whistle That Tune: A Beginning Musical Theatre Class

Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Ages: 6-8 years old

This class is the perfect introduction to the wonderful world of musical theatre. We will use singing, dancing, and acting to tell some of our favorite children’s musicals such as Willy Wonka, Annie, and the Wizard of Oz. Classes will conclude with a presentation for the parents on the final day.
Be A Star: An Intermediate Acting Class

Students with all levels of experience will enhance performing skills while exploring the incredible world of Theatre & Musical Theatre. This performance-based class will focus on making the actor feel comfortable on stage while learning songs, monologues and scenes.
