Vocal Training: 2nd-6th Grades

Build skill and confidence in solo and ensemble singing. The fundamentals of rhythm, reading music, and singing harmony will be covered and applied to popular songs from stage and screen. Participants will have input in choosing the musical selections and there will be a performance last day of class. Prior musical experience is welcome but not required; come find the joy and fun of singing!

    Dress Rehearsal will be held on Saturday, November 11 (Two performances will be held on Thursday, November 16)

  • Ages: 2nd – 6th Grade

Students will audition, rehearse and perform this fun high-energy musical right in the StarStruck Studio! It’s a great way to experience the whole theatrical process whether you’re a beginner or seasoned veteran. Minimal costumes and sets will be used.

Dear Edwina follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly “Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends through clever, catchy and poignant songs.

Prep Your Rep: Open to High School Juniors, Seniors & College Students

In this new and exciting advanced class, students will focus on creating a complete, organized, and well prepared musical theatre audition repertoire book while taking in nuggets of information on what it takes to be a professional Musical Theatre actor. After having access to the StarStruck music library to pick 4-8 diverse songs and one-on-one time with StarStruck’s resident music director (Nancy Godfrey), Students will meet each week to learn a new aspect of putting together their audition books and work on a new audition song with Courtney Stokes. This class will culminate with a concert featuring all of the students’ favorite songs from the semester.

This is the perfect prep class for college or professional production auditions. Open to High School Juniors, Seniors, and College students only.
