FAQ:
Where are the in person camps held?
Rehearsals and performances for all in-person camps will be held at StarStruck's rehearsal studios on Osgood Road in Fremont, CA.
Can my child attend multiple camps?
Students are welcome to sign up for multiple StarKids (Ages 8-12) camps. Registration will be first come, first served starting March 8th at 10am.
Can I drop off my child late? What if I have to miss a day?
Due to the nature of our camps, students are expected to attend every day of camp. Any conflicts should be discussed with the instructor(s) prior to enrollment. Excessive conflicts may prevent a student from being admitted to camp.
My child is not old enough to participate- can you make an exception?
Due to the popularity of our summer programs and the nature of our curriculum, all students must be the correct age by the start date of their camp. In the case of siblings who need to attend camp together, the older child may sign up for the younger siblings age group, but not vice-versa.
What are your COVID-19 guidelines & requirements?
We are so excited to welcome our students back to the studio again this summer. All in person camps will adhere to current CDC and Alameda County guidelines as they undoubtedly shift. Some guidelines of note:
- Summer 2023 Campers are required to be fully vaccinated or present negative COVID test each week. All StarStruck staff and teaching assistants are also fully vaccinated + boosted.
- Masks are not currently required, but students should be prepared to wear a mask for all rehearsals and performances in the event guidelines change.
- In the event that an actor tests positive and is unable to attend their camp session, please send doctors note & photo of positive test with student's name and date on test as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate the actor in another camp session.
