*Winter MainStage 2025*

This winter join StarStruck as we celebrate 30 years of theatre with this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! An exciting new musical featuring irresistible characters and magical music, this deep-sea pearl of a show is set to make a splash with audiences young and old.

1st rehearsal: Wednesday, September 18 @ 6-8:30pm

Parent meeting (Mandatory): Sunday, September 22 @ 7:30pm

Tech/Spacing (Mandatory): December 29-30, 2024 & January 2-9, 2025

Performances: January 11-26, 2025

Student Matinees: Friday, January 10 & 17, 2025

Rehearsal schedule*:

Mondays: 6pm-8:30pm
Wednesdays 6pm-8:30pm
Thursdays 6pm-8:30pm (November to January ONLY)
Sundays 2pm-8pm

*Actors are expected to be available for all rehearsals, but will only be called if needed.

Location: Rehearsals will be held at the StarStruck Rehearsal Studios: 42307 Osgood Road Units J & K, Fremont, CA

    What to Bring to rehearsal:

    1. Dance/Tennis shoes
    2. Clothes you can move in & hair secured out of face
    3. Water bottle 
    4. 3-ring binder for sheet music & handouts
    5. A notebook, pencils, and highlighters
    6. A positive attitude!

    Rehearsal Conflicts: You were cast based on the conflicts listed on your conflict sheet at auditions. Additional conflicts must be approved a minimum of 48 hours in advance by emailing mainstage.starstruck@gmail.com 

    Rehearsals: Rehearsals will start on Wednesday, September 18th.  A specific schedule will be given out week by week. Not everyone will be needed at every rehearsal.

    Tech/Dress Schedule:

    Once we move into the theatre, our schedule switches from 4 days/week to 6-7 days/week. NO CONFLICTS PERMITTED ONCE WE’RE AT THE THEATRE. Additionally, it is highly recommended that actors have minimal outside commitments/activities scheduled for the following dates:

    Tech/Spacing (Mandatory): December 29-30, 2024 & January 2-9, 2025
    Sitzprobe & Q2Q (Mandatory): Saturday, January 4,10am-10pm 
    Performances (Mandatory): January 11-26, 2025

    If Cast

    Fees: Tuition Fee is $850 per actor. First payment is due by September 14, 2024. 3-month payment plan is available. Tuition fee covers the cost of costumes, but actors are expected to provide their own modesty clothing, shoes, make-up, and hair supplies. Limited partial and full scholarships are available- apply here. Contact the MainStage.StarStruck@gmail.com for more information.

    Family Commitment: StarStruck Theatre expects performer attendance at all scheduled rehearsals. We will provide a weekly schedule with specific call times, but performers must be prepared to rehearse up to four days each week. We also require each family to contribute a minimum of 20 volunteer hours over the course of the production. There will undoubtedly be personal, family, and school events that will need to be missed because of being cast in the show.

    Additional optional expenses include purchasing show merchandise and tech dinners.
