Interim Digital Marketing/Programming Director
StarStruck Theatre in Fremont, CA is seeking a creative, trustworthy, organized, and enthusiastic interim Digital Marketing/Class Programming professional to join our team!

About the Position
Responsibilities:
- Represent StarStruck Theatre at all times in a professional and thoughtful manner.
- Create all digital marketing materials including art, copy, scheduling, etc. on social media platforms, emails (Constant Contact), and website (powered by Shopify- no coding knowledge needed).
- Campaigns include:
- Promoting Class/Camp registration
- Promoting MainStage Performances
- Fundraising Campaigns
- Daily fun at StarStruck!
- Process class/camp registration including refunds and exchanges
- Answer phone calls & emails regarding class/camp registration
- Be a self-starter and team player with StarStruck staff, volunteers, parents, and students.
Additional Responsibilities/Programs
The ideal candidate will also have experience with the following programs and tasks:
Google Suite
- GoogleForms
- GoogleDrive
- GoogleClassrooms
- Gmail
Canva or similar
- Design social media, email, and website art to advertise MainStage shows, classes, & camps
Shopify Website
- Update website
- Maintain home page
- Create new pages
- Create products
- Password lock appropriate products
- Turn on class “products” at designated day/time
- Fulfill orders
- Facilitate refunds/exchanges and discount codes as needed
Class Rosters
- Create & maintain
- Fulfill open spots from waiting list
- Keep instructors/staff updated on enrollment
ConstantContact email marketing
- create copy, art, and layout to advertise MainStage shows, MainStage auditions, classes & camps, and fundraisers
Social Media
- Posting & scheduling (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. Meta business suite tool)
- Respond to comments & private messages in a timely manner
- Create content (taking photos & videos, creating art in Canva)
- Create copy for captions
- Attention to detail
- Attach appropriate links
- Update LinkTree
- Understanding of trends/StarStruck brand
Location: StarStruck Office/Studios, Fremont, CA (remote hours available for the right candidate)
Employment Type: Contract/Part-Time, with opportunity to extend past May
Compensation: $20/hour (approx. 15-20 hours/week)
Contract dates: On/About December 1, 2022- May 1, 2023

Teaching Artists & Summer Camp Directors
StarStruck Theatre in Fremont, CA is seeking talented, positive, and passionate Teaching Artists for our upcoming classes (January- April) and summer camps (June- August)
The ideal candidate:
- Is fully vaccinated
- Loves musical theatre & working with children
- Is a fantastic leader, communicator, and team player
- Creates both weekly and daily schedules for their team
- Is a triple threat performer
- 3+ years experience teaching theatrical classes & camps for ages 6-14
AND/OR
- 2+ years directing experience
- 1+ year musical theatre choreography experience
Time: Varies by semester.
- Fall/Winter Classes meet 1x/Week for 10-12 weeks. Class hours are usually 3:45-6:16pm on weekdays only.
- Summer Camps meet for 1 week or 3 week sessions. M-F approx. 9am-3pm
Location: StarStruck Studios, Fremont, CA
Employment Type: Contract, with opportunity to extend through school year
Compensation: $25-$45/hour
Documents Needed: Live Scan, W4, Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
Duties include:
- Maintain consistency through class sessions
- Collaborate with StarStruck's Artistic Team on all elements of class casting through performances
- Create weekly and daily schedules for the team
- Lead Warm-ups & Theatre Games
- Create and teach blocking/choreography that meets or exceeds StarStruck's artistic standards
- Assist in pulling/creating costumes, props, and set pieces as needed
- Manage young actors (ages vary by class) and teaching assistants (Ages 15-18)
- Be a kind & helpful role model for all!
