Nancy Godfrey, Music Director

Piano is her first love; she has played and studied since she was six, and has accompanied for many theatrical and choral performances. She sang and toured with Heinz Chapel Choir in college, and has directed her church choir for many years. The music of Broadway gives her a special thrill, and there are no moments more treasured for her than when the house lights go to half, and she strikes up the band for Star Struck. Nancy received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from her hometown University of Pittsburgh, where she also continued piano, choral, and music theory studies. She earned her Medical Degree from University of Pennsylvania and completed her surgical residency training at Tulane University in New Orleans, where she met her husband Richard and moved to California. They had busy surgical practices for many years and raised two wonderful children here in Fremont, not to mention numerous pets. Her daughter Juliane is one of many StarStruck alumni who have continued on into professional performing careers. Nancy is now retired from surgical practice, so she has even more time to devote to music directing and teaching classes at StarStruck, her second home.
