Improv & Theatre Games (Ages 9-16)

About the Class: Get ready to jump in, think fast, and have a blast! Improv is all about creating scenes and stories on the spot — no script, no problem. In this playful class, you’ll discover how to trust your instincts, work as a team, and shine on stage. Each week, we’ll dive into exciting theatre games, whip up hilarious scenes, and learn to listen closely to our scene partners. You’ll build confidence, sharpen your communication skills, and most importantly — learn to let go and have fun!

Acting and Public Speaking Lab A (Ages 8-11) 

About the Class: Find your voice and take the stage in Acting & Public Speaking Lab! This interactive class gives performers the opportunity to build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and explore the art of performance through monologues, scene work, and speeches.

Students will develop acting technique, stage presence, vocal expression, and storytelling skills while learning how to connect with an audience and perform with confidence. Through games, exercises, memorization, and performance-based activities, this class creates a supportive environment where performers can grow, collaborate, and shine.

  • Day/Time:Tuesdays, 3:45-4:45pm

Kids on Broadway (Ages 5-6) 

About the Class: In this introduction to musical theatre, students will explore the basics of singing, dancing, and acting. We will have fun creating our own “mini musical” with 2 to 3 musical theatre songs and perform for friends and family at our final class meeting. This is the perfect class for budding stars who are interested in singing, movement, and playing pretend.

  • Day/Time: Wednesdays, 3:45-4:30

  • Dates: September 2-October 21, 2026

  • Final Sharing: October 21,  4:15-4:30

StarKids (Ages 7-9)

About the Class: In this introduction to musical theatre, students will explore the basics of singing, dancing, and acting. We will have fun creating our own “mini musical” with 4 to 5 songs and perform for friends and family at our final class meeting. This is the perfect class for students who are interested in musical theatre but are not quite ready for the intensity of the Mini Musical Class. 

  • Day/Time: Wednesdays, 4:30-5:45

  • Dates: September 2-October 21, 2026

  • Final Sharing: October 21, 5:15-5:45

Tap for Musical Theatre (Ages 8-16)

About the class: In this class, students work on foundational musical theatre tap technique and combinations while gaining strength, flexibility, and endurance with StarStruck’s MainStage choreographer Francesca Cipponeri. Whether your student has taken just one theatre class or has been enrolled at StarStruck for years, ALL StarStruck students are highly encouraged to enroll!

  • Day/Time: Thursdays, 4:00-5:00pm

  • Dates: September 3rd -November 5th

  • Final Sharing: November 7th- PALOOZA @ 7pm

Jazz for Musical Theatre (Ages 8-16)

About the class: In this class, students work on foundational musical theatre jazz technique and combinations while gaining strength, flexibility, and endurance with StarStruck’s MainStage choreographer Francesca Cipponeri. Whether your student has taken just one theatre class or has been enrolled at StarStruck for years, ALL StarStruck students are highly encouraged to enroll!

Musical Theatre Dance Bootcamp (Ages 13-19)

About the Class: Musical Theatre Dance Bootcamp is designed to strengthen and refine students’ musical theatre dance technique. This comprehensive class focuses on building skills in jazz, tap, leaps, turns, and other foundational styles essential to the well-rounded musical theatre performer.

Developed with the busy schedules of high school students in mind, this course combines the content of three classes into one intensive program, offered at a discounted rate. It is highly suggested for all StarStruck teens who are eager to improve their technique, increase their versatility, and continue advancing their craft- Recommendation Required.

  • Day/Time:Thursdays, 6:00-8:00pm

  • Dates: September 3rd-November 5th

Final Sharing:  November 7th- PALOOZA @ 7pm

Mini Musical Friday: Shrek KIDS! (Ages 8-12) 

About the class: Mini Musical is the perfect place for both budding and experienced performers that love singing, dancing, and acting. In this class, students will put together a 45-minute musical that will conclude with a performance at the StarStruck Studio for friends and family. Students are expected to attend every class and study at home to memorize music and choreography. 

  • Show Title: Shrek KIDS!

  • Day/Time: Fridays, 3:45-6:15pm

  • Dates: September 4th -November 20th

  • All Class Dates:

    • September 4 (Auditions), 11, 18, 25

    • October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

    • November 6, 13 (Tech), 20 (performances)

    • *Mandatory Dress rehearsal (no conflicts permitted):

      • FRIDAY, November 13, 3:45pm-6:30pm

    • *Mandatory Final performances: 

      • November 20 @ 5pm 

      • November 20 @ 6:30pm

NOTE: Mini Musical is a performance-based class that requires that every student be present for every FULL class period. Several absences (including arriving late and leaving early) may result in dismissal from portions of the show. All performance tickets are $10 + processing fee, there are no comp tickets available this semester.
